This photo was taken during Sunday’s brief respite from winter storms shows a blanket of snow over Price and the Tavaputs Plateau to the east. Monday’s blizzards kept snow removal crews busy all day as they battled to keep roads and parking lots clear for traffic. Deep snow in the Price River drainage is giving water users cause for optimism about next year’s supply, but Scofield Reservoir still has a big deficit to fill after four dry years. USU Eastern cancelled classes for the day.
