Ori named Price Citizen of Year

Frank Ori

Frank Ori was born on Oct. 18,1974 to Frank and Janet Ori. He is a life long resident of Carbon County. He graduated from Carbon High in 1992. He attended College of Eastern Utah and then graduated from Mesa State College in 1998 with a Bachelors degree in broadcasting and public relations. He then went onto become Carbon County’s assistant director of Recreation in 2001.
He became director in 2014, a title he still holds today. He has also coached baseball at CEU, now USU Eastern. Frank also does a morning radio show on KUSA FM 100 the buzz and he teaches Fitness for Life at USUE.  
On Dec. 3, Frank suffered a massive stroke. He is recovering and plans to return soon.  
Frank married the love of his life, Kristine on Nov. 19, 2011. The couple have four children Jaren 20, Danielle 14, Trevor 11 and Addison 3.  
Frank has been chosen as Price City’s citizen of the year for this year’s Iinternational Days Celebration. When told about the event Frank went to tears. He was overwhelmed by the kindness of the committee. He also felt very honored.
