Ballard Tournament presents proceeds to Carbon School District

Carbon High Principal Bruce Bean accepts a check for $14,170.07 from Linda Ballard and Frank Ori as Carbon School District Superintendent Lance Hatch looks on. The money was raised through the Mike Ballard Golf Tournament and associated activities this summer. The tournament committee made the decision to donate it to the school district, and it will be used for student extra curricular activities. Also present at the event from the school district was Mont Harmon Middle School Principal Seth Allred, Helper Middle School Principal Mika Salas, Carbon School Board members Jeff Richens and Kristen Taylor. Those present from the tournament committee included Rose Barnes, Linda Ballard, Frank Ori, Ann Anderson and Misty Birch.
