An unidentified female was lucky to escape with minor injuries after the car she was driving slid off SR-6 near mile marker 238 Monday afternoon. The car flipped when it hit a concrete structure that channels runoff water underneath the highway.
According to preliminary information at the scene, the driver was not using a seat belt. She was transported by ambulance to the hospital for evaluation.
