May 24 and 26 Camp Floyd/Stagecoach Inn State Park and Museum – Fairfield – Civil War Days: Camp Floyd State Park, in conjunction with the Utah Civil War Association, hosts a Civil War Encampment. Learn to drill and march, load and fire a Civil War period rifle, watch a battle and medical display, participate in 1861 period games. May 24 Antelope Island State Park – Syracuse – Memorial Weekend Activities: Join park staff in celebrating Memorial Day weekend at the historic Fielding Garr Ranch. Learn to make pioneer handkerchief dolls, pick up a needle and quilt, dip candles and make a pioneer lantern, or learn pioneer games such as farm ball. Participants need to bring an empty vegetable or soup can to make their own pioneer lantern.
