Blake Najera
Standing 6’4″ sophomore Blake Najera is well suited for playing center on the team. He also was on the football squad, playing at wide receiver. When asked about the college of his dreams, he named the Texas Longhorns as a place he would like to play ball. PE and English top his favorite classes. He is the oldest out of three brothers and a sister.
Joey Keller
Sophomore Joey Keller is a power forward for the Carbon Dinos. He played quarterback on the football team this year. His favorite class is sports entertainment and marketing. He is thinking about college, but has not narrowed down any choices yet. He has one sister. He looks up to his parents as his role models.
Mike Sacco
Mike Sacco is a junior on the Carbon basketball team. He is a small forward for the Carbon squad. Sports medicine is a favorite class of his. He plans on attending CEU and then moving on to the University of Utah to finish up his four years of college. He has a little brother and sister to follow in his footsteps. He admires both Coach Cisneros and Dwayne Wade.
Ryan Rasmussen
Ryan Rasmussen is a sophomore pointguard for this year’s squad. He was a wide receiver on the football squad and plays outfield in baseball. He looks forward to his advanced fitness class. The U of U is in his sites for his choice of colleges after graduation. Two older brothers and two older sisters make up the rest of his family. He admires NBA player Dwayne Wade.
Tysen Stevens
Sophomore Tysen Stevens plays the small forward position on the Carbon squad. He is a dual sport player, having also played of the football team, this year. He stated he has two sisters, a brother and a brother-in-law when asked about his family. He enjoys math as his favorite subject this year. When asked about his future plans, he stated he wanted to attend Duke University.
