Letter to the Editor: Install cameras to get good photos

By Sun Advocate

Editor:
One would think that after the many robberies being photographed and so many unrecognizable photos taken during those crimes that owners of establishments would smarten up. They need to relocate their cameras to shoot straight on and not down from the ceilings.
Smart robbers never look up.
They should also install a camera hidden seven feet high on walls at the exit doors, that will photograph those that are exiting the business. It is there where they will get a clearer photograph of the thief leaving the establishment.
If they are going to the expense of installing cameras, they should add a few dollars and buy a camera that has auto-telephoto features to get close up exposures.
