Travis Hobbs flies high at the Carbon Invitational dive meet. |
Even missing one of their best divers, the Carbon dive team took first place in their annual invitational meet. The meet featured 35 divers and eight different teams as they gathered in Price Saturday, Nov. 18.
Travis Hobbs placed second. He missed a first place finish by seven points. If he would have had a few more clean dives he would have captured the top spot.
Travis Hepworth took seventh place overall in his first competition ever. Brett Wells was 10th. In the six dive competition Nate Hepworth took first and Nick Torrez placedfourth. First place team honors went to the Carbon High boys.
The team will head north to South Summit for a meet on Dec. 2.
