Maxine Henningson
EAST CARBON – Maxine Black Henningson, dear wife, mother, grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully Feb. 6, 2006.
Born Dec. 2, 1928 in Clawson to Wayne Blackburn and Melba Jane Prows.
She loved to garden, fish, camp and be with family and friends. Always tinkering, fixing the unfixable! A feisty lady full of wit and compassion. She will be greatly missed.
Survived by husband, Neil Henningson; children, Shauna Erickson, Lisa (Tom) Tippetts, Denise (Irv) Hillman, Diane Oviatt, JoAnne (Jeff) Braby, Leonard (Terry) Dennison; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Also survived by five stepchildren, Kenneth (Sue) Henningson, Debbie Lien, Cecil (Donna) Henningson, Linda (Alan) Miles, Dennis (Claudia) Henningson; 19 step-grandchildren and 38 step great-grandchildren.
Services will be at Fausett Mortuary, 680 E. 100 South, Price, on Saturday, Feb. 11, 11 a.m., with a viewing one hour prior. Interment, Ferron Cemetery.
A special thanks to her husband, Neil, for all the years of loving care he gave her. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us.
Genevieve Cormani
HELPER – Genevieve Lopez Cormani, age 87, passed away Feb. 8, 2006 in West Jordan.
She was born Aug.15, 1918 in Monroe to Charles and Irene Julander Lopez. Married Luke Cormani Jan. 8, 1941 in Las Vegas, Nev. He passed away March 3, 1985.
Longtime resident of Helper. Genevieve loved her pet cats, enjoyed baking and spending her free time bowling. She was a loving mother and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Survived by daughter, Wilene (Ron) Lowther, Salt Lake City; sister, Barbara Marvidikis, Helper; and nieces and nephews, Athena, Stephanie, Sabrina and McRay.
Family will be at Mitchell’s one hour prior to services. Graveside services Friday, Feb. 10, noon, at Mountain View Cemetery, Helper.
Joshua Lester
PRICE – Joshua Thomas Lester, 5 months old, passed away Feb. 6, 2006 at Primary Children’s Medical Center in Salt Lake City.
He was born Aug. 21, 2005 in American Fork to Daniel Tyrrell and Many Kay Lester.
Joshua loved to play peek-a-boo with his brothers and sister. He liked to hear his mommy sing to him.
Listening to music helped him feel good.
Survived by parents; brothers, Cameron Lester, Joseph Tyler Lester; sister, Amanda Lynn Lester, all of Price; grandparents, Daniel Anderson Lester, Huntington; Lynn Reidhead, Heber, Ariz.; and George and Joyce Peterson, Hanksville.
Funeral service will be Friday, Feb. 10, 11 a.m., at the Price 1st Ward LDS Chapel, 150 S. 500 East. A viewing will be held one hour prior to service at the church. Burial, Cliffview Cemetery, Price, under the direction of Fausett Mortuary.
Irene Pritchett
EAST CARBON – Irene Clark Pritchett, age 70, passed away Feb. 6, 2006 at her home.
She was born April 19, 1935 in Shady Point, Okla., to Herman and Hazel Crompton Clark. Married James Alford, divorced. Married Jack Pritchett, later divorced.
Irene was a resident of East Carbon since 1977 where she worked at Kaiser Steel and Horse Canyon Coal mines. She was a retired member of the United Mine Workers of America District 22.
She loved flowers, bingo, bowling, storytelling and big trucks, especially Peterbilts. Irene enjoyed boating, fishing, spending time in Lake Powell and Utah’s beautiful blue skies. She loved traveling and dining out.
Survived by daughter, Deborah Lozano, East Carbon; granddaughter, Kimberly (Pete) Castiglione, Florida; three great-grandchildren, Jessika, Amanda and Meagan; sister, Melba Benson, Salt Lake; brother, Earl Clark, East Carbon; sister, Faye (Paul) Mager, Price; brother, Frank (Pat) Modes, Price; sister-in-law, Elnora Clark, East Carbon; and many special nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Hazel and Alvin Parsons; brother, Willard R. Clark; nephews, Robert Blackburn, Randy McManus Jr., Tony Modes and David Espinoza.
Funeral service Saturday, Feb. 11, 11 a.m., Mitchell Funeral Home. Family will be at Mitchell’s Saturday one hour prior to service. Interment, Price City Cemetery.
