For 80 years Sanpete County has been trying to take water that belongs to Carbon county citizens.
All the water that is on the East, South and North of Skyline area belongs to Carbon county, Scofield and the Price River. This water is Carbon Countys life. It is for Carbon Countys citizens to have: drinking water, household use, economic and industrial use, for the past, for now and for the future.
The federal agencies and the state funding agencies are wrong if they fund the Gooseberry Narrows Project and the proposed dam on the headwaters of the Price River. It will only hurt Carbon County.
A big “no” should be given to Sanpete County on this issue.
