Pamela Haycock
NORTH OGDEN-Pamela May Hoehn Haycock, 46, passed away peacefully in her sleep Monday, Oct. 27, 2003.
Pamela was born Aug. 25, 1957 in Ogden to Theodore and Patricia (Cox) Hoehn. She married Floyd Haycock in 1977; they were later divorced.
Pamela was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served in many capacities in the Relief Society, young women, activities committee, and also was a missionary meal planner.
Pamela is survived by son, Tyler Haycock of Albany, Ore.; daughters, Melissa (Joseph) Palmer of Pleasant Grove; Brittney Haycock of North Ogden; father, Theodore Hoehn of Mesquite, Nev.; brothers, Gregory Hoehn of aOgden; Paul (Cindy) Hoehn of North Ogden; Curtis Hoehn of Ogden; and sister, Teresa (David) Hess of Ogden. She was preceded in death by mother, Patricia Cox Hoehn.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Nov. 1, at 10 a.m. at the North Ogden 5th LDS Ward, 650 East 2600 North. Friends may call at the ward on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and from 9 to 9:45 a.m. on Saturday prior to the service. Interment will follow at Ogden City Cemetery under the direction of Aaron’s Mortuary and Crematory.
Pam was our angel here on earth. She was always there for anyone in need. Her love was the strongest love a mother could have or give.
A memorial fund has been set up at America First Credit Union c/o Haycock children
Hana Winn
PRICE- Our beloved Hana Liddell “Callaway” Winn, age 89, passed away Oct. 27, 2003 at her residence at the Heirloom Inn in Price.
She was born March 5, 1914 in Parowan to John Wilton and Memphis Myers Liddell. She married Leland “Bud” Callaway in June 1941 in Castle Dale. He passed away in 1944 following a mining accident. She later married John Cooper Winn Feb. 19, 1951 in the Manti LDS Temple. He passed away Dec. 7, 1996.
Hana loved to read and would read the paper front to back daily.
She enjoyed playing her piano.
She was an artist and painted pictures for her family, whom she was very proud of.
She loved talking to friends and relatives about her family and the good old days in Columbia.
She was a member of the LDS Church and devoted countless hours to her church callings.
She was a member of Daughters of Utah Pioneers and she loved meeting with her local sewing club for many years.
The family would like to express appreciation to all who have cared for Hana, especially the staff at the Heirloom Inn, who treated her like family.
She is survived by her children, Gary L. (Lorraine) Calla-way, Cedar City; Kathleen Law-rence, Sandy; John Richard Winn, Oakland, Calif.; Travis A. (Lillian) Winn, Salt Lake City; and Anita (Art) Nicholson, Carbonville. Hana is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Johnson, American Fork; and Helen (Larry) Faddis, Bountiful. She was preceded in death by parents; husbands; infant brother, Thomas; sisters, Barbara Oviatt, Loraine Clair and Lelia Wallace; and grandson, Michael Winn.
Funeral service will be Thursday, Oct. 30, at 1 p.m. at the Price 2nd LDS Ward Chapel, 479 North 100 East. Friends may call for a visitation from 11 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. prior to services at the chapel. Interment will follow in the Price City Cemetery under the direction of Fausett Mortuary.
Kay Abel
AMERICAN FORK – Kay Francis Abel, 55 of American Fork, passed away at home Oct. 28, 2003 after a valiant fight with heart problems.
Born March 5, 1948 to Francis Ray and Thelma Leila Johnston Abel. He married Vickie Lynn Clements. They later divorced. On July 1, 1986, he married Sandra Kay Brown.
Kay was an avid musician, played in the Argon’s band.
He retired from NAPA Auto Parts.
Kay loved his girls, his wife and his pets.
He had many friends whom he considered as family.
Survived by wife, Sandra; children, Kalynn (Troy) Watson, Randi (Vern) Peterson, Jackie Hatton, all of Lehi; special children, Christina and R.J.; six grandchildren; and sister, Gayle Smith, California. Preceded in death by parents; stepson, Randy Mecham; sister, Glenda; and brother, Elton.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Nov. 1, at 11 a.m. at Anderson and Sons Mortuary Chapel, 49 E.100 North, American Fork, where family and friends may call from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Interment, American Fork Cemetery.
