It was great to see the American flag in the April 15 issue of the Sun Advocate.
Several weeks ago the paper ran a letter from a local youngster who had a relative involved in the war. She pointed out how important it is for all of us to fly the flag in support of our troops. By including the flag in the paper you have given all of your readers immediate access to a flag that can be easily placed in a home or business windows.
I hope all of your readers will respond by displaying the flags with pride. It would be a true sign of local support to see several thousand flags on display all over town.
I know the troops, their families and friends will appreciate it.
