Adam Cunningham plays his clarinet in preparation for the state band concert in Salt Lake City. The event took place Oct. 11 at the Salt Lake City Tabernacle. Cunningham is a senior at Carbon High and was one of only 80 band students in the state to be selected to participate in all-state band/orchestra this year. After auditioning last spring by tape, Cunningham was selected out of thousands of Utah band students to participate in the annual event. This will be the third year that Cunningham has participated in the all-state band program.
