Carbon County’s road department continues to work on repaving the streets in the Westwood subdivision. The project is scheduled for the next two to three weeks. Road officials request that residents in the area remove all vehicles, trailers and items from the streets so the crews may proceed unhindered with the improvements. According to county road department supervisor Ray Hansen, the crews will first focus on paving the roadways. Then toward the end of the month, the workers will be doing a chip and seal on the roads. Except on holidays, crews will work Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
