Two spectators walk along the road after a Monday afternoon accident on U.S. Highway 6. Occurring at approximately 3 p.m. about one-half mile north of Colton, the July 8 mishap sent an adult and a baby to the hospital. The accident happened when the driver apparently lost control and then overcorrected, sending the vehicle off the east side of the road where it rolled. The baby was riding in a car seat and appeared to be uninjured. However, the woman operating the vehicle reportedly incurred head injuries in the mishap. The incident is being investigated by Utah Highway Patrol officials.
