Carbon County Sheriff James Cordova presents Soleil Drolc with a $1,000 scholarship check. The 2004 Carbon High graduate is a student at College of Eastern Utah. After earning an associate’s degree, she plans to attend the University of Utah. The Utah Sheriffs Association presents annual scholarships to students from law enforcement families or who intend to pursue degrees in subjects related to law enforcement. The 2005 scholarship recipient is the daughter of Kevin Drolc, who is a captain with the Price Police City Department, and Janice Drolc, who works at the county sheriff’s office.
