Elder Mower


Elder Daniel Mower has been called to serve in the Oklahoma-Tulsa mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Elder Mower will speak during sacrament meeting July 14 at 9 a.m. at the Spring Glen LDS Ward, located at 150 Ridgeway in Helper.
He is the son of Kent and Jann Mower.
An open house will be presented July 13 from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Mower residence, 3800 N. 1590 West, Spring Glen.


Elder Needles


Elder Justin Charles Needles has returned to the local area after serving in the Missouri-Independence mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
His parents are Jesse and Janette Needles.
Elder Needles’ missionary homecoming will be celebrated July 14 at 11:30 a.m. at the Price 7th/8th LDS Ward building.


Sister Peet


Sister Cassie Rae Peet, the daughter of Harvey and Debbie Peet of Price, has been called to serve in the Uruguay-Montevideo mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Sister Peet’s missionary farewell meeting will be July 14 at 11:30 a.m. at the Price 1st LDS Ward, located at 150 South 500 East.
Sister Peet will report to the Provo missionary training center July 17.


Elder Van Zyverden


Elder J.L. Van Zyverden has accepted a call to serve in the Russia-Novosibirsk mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Elder Van Zyverden will speak during sacrament meeting July 21 at 11 a.m. at the Granite Ridge LDS Ward Chapel, located at 3100 East 9575 South in Sandy.
A former resident of Huntington, he is the grandson of Patsy Grange.
Elder Van Zyverden will enter the Provo missionary training center July 24.
