Rick Olsen

    WELLINGTON-Our loving husband, father, son, brother and friend, Ricky Lee Olsen, age 65, passed away March 3, 2018.
    He was born December 15, 1952 to Violet Bradshaw and Delbert Olsen.  Married Vickie Swenson and together they had three children, Bobbi, Amy and Wade.  On August 21, 2017, Rick married the love of his life Lezlie Berdan in Price.
    Rick attended Carbon High School. He was a coal miner for many years, then went on to driving truck. Rick enjoyed the outdoors and being with his wife Lezlie, and his family and friends.  He loved riding his Harley, camping, boating and anything outdoors.  Rick was a one of a kind guy who loved everyone and he was always so helpful and generous.
    Survived by his soulmate and love of his life Lezlie Deanne Olsen, Price; children, Bobbi, Price; Amy (Bob) Ganser ,Rangley, CO; Wade (Roxanne), Price; grandchildren, Cheyenne (Josh) Burr, Colton Carter, Logan (Kaitlin), Emily, Zoe Olsen, Nicolette, Raiden, Trayse, Zander Ganser; step-children, (Erez) Tobi, Andy (Adrian) Olsen; great-granddaughters, Kinzlee and Asher Burr; also survived by his brothers, Don (DD) Olsen, Mt Pleasant, TN, Larry (Sherrie) Olsen, Washington State; sisters, Denise (Kenneth) Thayn, Wellington, Diana Lynn (Jerry) Page, Oklahoma; best friend, Loretta Sandoval; along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
    Rick was preceded in death by his parents, sister Bonnie and brother Dennis.
    Funeral service, Saturday, March 10, 2018, 1:00 p.m., Mitchell Funeral Home, (233 East Main Street) in Price.  Family will receive friends at Mitchell’s Friday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m. and Saturday one hour prior to services.  Interment, Wellington City Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Rick online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
