The annual Handal’s Messiah program is scheduled for Sunday, December 3 at 7:30 p.m. in the Carbon High School auditorium.
Participants from the community as well as students from USU-Eastern join together their talents to sing in the choir and play in the symphony that will  accompany the singers that night.
The performance is under the direction of Larry Martin, lecturer/choral director at USU-Eastern, and he brings with him his own intrerpretation of the music. Practices are intense as Martin call for proper diction and voice control.
This performance has been a community tradition for a number of years and sets the mood for the Christmas season.
The performance is free of change.
