The Dinos tied the game at two runs on an RBI single by senior Chase Morgan, scoring junior Cody Lowe, who had reached on a walk. Carbon then took a 3-2 lead on a pinch-hit RBI double by junior Jadon Robertson.
Unfortunately for the Dinos, the Falcons rallied in the top of the seventh inning, scoring two runs to take the 4-3 lead. Carbon went down in order in the bottom of the inning and Canyon View won the game.

The second game of the day for the Dinos also resulted in a tough loss, with Carbon never overcoming the five runs Canyon View scored in the first two innings.
