The Lady Dino Golf Team traveled to Skyline Mountain Resort last Wednesday for the North Sanpete Region 12 match. The Lady Dinos took a tough last-place finish. Juab won with a score of 142 points, Canyon View made 113, North Sanpete 103, Richfield 102 and Carbon 95. Indie Gardner led the team with 27, Keely Marquez 26, Laini Davis 22 and Audrey Fausett 20.
“The other teams just played better,” said head coach Kenji Otani. “We didn’t play terrible, they just played better. Next week (this Wednesday) is the Region final and it will be a battle for second, we trail North Sanpete by 6 and Canyon View by 1, now. I know what these girls can do and I’m betting on the Lady Dinos.”
