The Pinnacle Canyon Academy high school boys’ basketball team picked up a non-Region win over Telos High School on Friday, a 89-35 route for the Panthers.
Pinnacle controlled the entire game against Telos, excelling offensively. The Panthers scored 20 or more points in each of the four periods in the game.
Senior Skylar Graves led the Panthers with 17 points in the game, going 7-9 from the field with four three-pointers. Junior Jonathan Giddings tallied 15 points for the Panthers, going 7-8 from the field. Senior Brandon Otto tallied seven rebounds for the Panthers.
The Panthers, now 13-6 overall, will play their final game of the season on Thursday, a Region 19 game against Whitehorse. The Panthers defeated Whitehorse in the teams’ earlier match-up this season 64-49. Tip-off will be at 7 p.m., with seniors also being honored before the start of the game.
