EAST CARBON-Robert Lon Warren, PhD departed this world to be with eternal father on October 30, 2015. Born a coal miner’s son to Gran W. and Julia Sterlekar Warren he entered this world in Price, Utah November 15, 1937.
Robert graduated from Carbon High in 1955, University of California, Los Angeles 1964 with a M.E. degree, Stanford University, Palo Alto 1984, with a PhD in humanities. Robert was employed by Kaiser Steel Coal Mine and Arch Damn Contractors. He was the founder of Mechanical Design and the C.E.O. of Robert L. Warren, Inc. in California. Robert acted as president of the California state S.M.A.C.A.
He lived a rewarding life traveling the United States, Europe, Hawaii, Japan, Alaska, South America and Canada.
Robert search for “truth of salvation” finally brought him to the Baptist church where he found peace and believed “only thru me can you come to the Father” and so he went. Rest in peace sweet, cherished brother.
He is survived by his sister, Marilyn (Fred) Losee; 3 nephews, Todd Losee, Scot Losee and Karl Losee. Robert will be interred in Price Cemetery near his father and mother, Gran & Julia Warren.
At his request there will be no services, but you can visit him at Price City Cemetery, section P, Lot 55, Space 5. Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories of Robert online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
