Price will be the newest addition to the growing nationwide system of Tesla rechargeable “pump” stations available to electric car owners. The charges are free, paid for by the Tesla Motors Company. The station will be near the Holiday Inn Express at 923 West Westwood Blvd.
It will include a “supercharger,” which charges the vehicle in 20-30 minutes, compared to the standard six to eight hour charge from the standard charging station.
The motion for a conditional use permit was passed unanimously by the Price City Council during its last meeting.
