One of the important parts of economic growth in Carbon County is the OK for oil and gas drilling in Nine Mile Canyon to continue. These operations, along with the coal mines, keep the economy going.
Bill Barrett Corporation is an honest company and will do as the federal and state land managers ask them to do. That means they will work to protect the archaeological venues, the wild life, the vegetation and keep the air clean.
Some citizens of this county get royalty monies for these works, while the county gets mineral lease moneys as well.
So let’s keep them here and working.
