Letter to the Editor: Address change could be deadly

By Sun Advocate

Editor:
The Dec. 20 issue of the Sun Advocate (“Carbon County Commission hears innovative address change proposal”) had a story about changing addresses to latitude and longitudinal coordinates.
How could some alleged leaders be so impressed about the changes to replace regular addresses? Such a change is a candidate for terrorism.
The military uses this on special equipment to target and destroy strategic targets. Put all this information across America and believe me to set up some mortars, artillery and nukes would be easily accomplished. They could then target the positions of strategic items such as records, police stations, National Guard buildings in a heartbeat.
Our alleged leaders better wake up to the real world and quit being easily impressed, about this dangerous situation.
This advice comes from an ex-soldier.
