Local swimmer dominates Utah Summer Games

Kamra Davis shows off her medals from the recent Utah Summer Games. Davis took home 11 total medals during the summer games.

During the swimming championships on June 21-23 at the Utah Summer Games Kamra Davis showed just how good she really is. Davis swam in 11 events and placed in all 11, she took first place in nine events and second place in two events. In the process Davis set eight new records in her age group.
Kamra has swam at Carbon High School for Coach Stu Foster and thrives within the sport.
According to her coach she decided to get back into condition six months ago and go for the summer games.
Kamra placed first in the 400 meter freestyle, 100 meter breaststroke, 50 meter backstroke and second in the 100 meter freestyle on June 21.
On June 22 Davis placed first in the 100 meter backstroke, 50 meter breaststroke and the 200 meter freestyle.
Concluding on June 23 Davis placed first in the 200 meter individual medley, the 200 meter backstroke and the 50 meter butterfly. In her last event she placed second in the 50 meter freestyle.
