The passenger of a vehicle purportedly involved in an automobile-bicycle accident last Friday talks with Michael White, who was injured in the mishap. The accident occurred Sept. 2 at 700 East and Main Street in Price. White was reportedly traveling on the left side of Main Street when witnesses indicate he tried to cross 700 East. The driver of a white pickup truck said he stopped to see around the blind right turn by Ricardo’s when White allegedly struck the front of the vehicle. The license plate was ripped from the vehicle and White, who was wearing a helmet, suffered minor injuries which were treated by paramedics at the scene. Law enforcement chose not to issue a citation. White is a ninth-grader at Mont Harmon Junior High and was on his way home from school. Price police remind bicyclists to follow all traffic laws, in particular, to travel on the right side of the road and obey all traffic control signals.
