Chris Langhorne tries to score over a Snow defender during Saturday night’s matchup. CEU lost both games of the series.

College of Eastern Utah mens basketball gave the crowd an exciting pair of games last weekend, despite the last second losses to Snow College.
In Friday night’s game, CEU had the lead and the ball with only eight seconds remaining.
On a flubbed inbounds pass, Snow managed a steal and an off-balance shot to take a one point lead with half a second remaining in the game.
CEU lost 59-60.
The next night, CEU again had a precarious, one-point lead over the Badgers with only seconds remaining.
Snow made a couple of free throws to take the lead by one.
CEU missed their final shot and lost again by one, 68-67.
Head coach Bryan Zollinger said the close games are likely to keep coming.
“In our league, there are a lot of close games,” he commented. “You’ve got to learn to pull them out.”
He said the Snow team was experienced and wasn’t going to make a lot of mistakes.
“They’re a good team,” he noted. “But with two, one-point games, it could have gone either way.”
CEU players will return to the court next weekend after taking a few days off for Thanksgiving.
The Eagles host the North Idaho College Cardinals on Dec 5 & 6. The games begin at 7:30 p.m.
