Carbon School District business manager Bill Jewkes swore in Brittnie Leonard of East Carbon High School as the student representative to the Board of Education for this year on Nov. 6. Each school year the Carbon Board of Education selects a student to hold a place on the board to report on student activities and to give input on student views about issues confronting the members and the various schools in the district.
