Girls fast pitch softball league to hold its registration.
The Wellington girls fast pitch softball league will hold it’s registration for girls eight to 18 on Wednesday, April 3, at the CEU BDAC and Thursday, April 4, at Wellington City Hall. Registration will be held at both locations from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Any questions may be directed to Kaye Rasmussen at 637-7431.

A wealth of wildlife-related information is just a few keystrokes away, at the Division of Wildlife Resources’ internet web site. The division’s home page address is www.wildlife.utah.gov. “More than 20 major categories of wildlife information are available on the web site,” explains Cory Maylett, web editor for the DWR. Information people may access includes:
•Hunting and fishing forecasts.
•Utah’s hunting, fishing and trapping proclamations.
•Hunting applications, which are posted as application periods near. Hunters who have a credit card can apply online. Those who don’t have a credit card can download and print the applications, and mail them in.
•Information about unsolved poaching cases and an opportunity to provide information about them, or other poaching cases, to the division.
•A calendar of wildlife-related events.
•Weekly fishing reports, posted each Friday morning, and a bulletin board where anglers may leave information about recent fishing trips, and tips and techniques they’ve found success with.
•Draw results and drawing odds for various hunts.
•Annual hunting harvest reports.
•Information about the division’s big game, upland game, waterfowl, cougar and bear management programs.
•A list of fishing and hunting areas accessible to the physically challenged.
