As the holiday season winds down, residents prepare to dispose of the trees which were once adorned with bright ornaments and lights. Local city agencies plan to help with the disposal process by picking up undecorated trees placed at the curb sides. The trees must be free from all ornaments as well as lights and placed on the parkway in front of the resident’s home. City workers will then come by and pick up the trees to dispose of properly. Each city has different schedules for pick up. Wellington city will perform the disposal Jan. 11 for its residents, while Helper and Price city residents may set the trees aside at anytime for removal by work crews.
