Last year, Castleview Hospital delivered more than $1.7 million in services to individuals without the ability to pay for their care.
What’s New at Castleview Hospital
Castleview Hospital was named one of the Top 20 Rural Community Hospitals in the country. The Top 20 Rural and community hospital winners are those hospitals who have achieved success in the overall performance based on a composite rating system.
A new service line now offered:
Beginning end of year we will have a full time Cardiologist in our community. Marcus Brann, MD, cardiologist; will be joining our team at Castleview Hospital. Dr. Brann will provide expertise in the following areas: Acute heart attack, atrial fibrillation, valvular heart disease, heart muscle disorders, peripheral vascular disease, congestive heart failure, cholesterol disorders, and more.
New Health Care Providers
In 2017 we welcomed Nurse Practitioner Dave McOmber, Neurology. Dave joined Thomas Buchanan, MD at Castleview Neurologic Associates and is now accepting new neurology patients. We also will be welcoming Nurse Practitioner Michael Clark and Physician Assistant Angela Epstein who will be seeing patients at the new Castleview Urgent Care opening this fall. Marcus Brann, MD, cardiologist, will also be joining us with years of experience coming from the Heart and Lung Institute. Dr. Brann will move his practice full time to Price in late fall of 2017.
Our Administrative Team
Our Administrative Team strives very hard to make Castleview Hospital the best hospital it can be. We would like to Welcome Grant Barraclough, MSN CPPS as our new Chief Nursing Officer. Grant assumed the role of Chief Nursing Officer in August of 2017, after retirement of Terri Watkins who served Castleview Hospital for 36 years. Our current administration team consists of Chief Executive Officer: Mark Holyoak; Chief Financial Officer: Greg Cook; and Chief Nursing Officer: Grant Barraclough.
