Price Veterans Day ceremony

    Veteran’s Day, Saturday, November 11, will start with a Veteran’s Participation walk from 3rd East to 1st East on Main Street in Price. Participants will gather at the south side of 3rd East by Grako’s Auto at 10:15 a.m. and the walk will start at 10:30 a.m. All veterans are encouragted to participate with the Price American Legion, Price Veterans of Foreign Wars and the National Guard for this walk. After the walk, participants will assemble in the Peace Gardens for a memorial ceremony with the American Legion Post #3 for its annual salute to all veterans past and present. The Pledge of Allegiance to the United States of America will be given, followed by a 21-gun salute in honor of the peace agreement signed on the 11th hour of the 11th day of the 11th month. This date and hour started in 1919.
    All area residents are encouraged to attend.
