Last Thursday, students at the Castle Valley Center and youth volunteers with United Way’s Volunteer Connection and Carbon High’s Girls League enjoyed the center’s sixth annual prom.
Youth volunteers spruced up the multi-purpose room at the center. Decorations were furnished by the United Way with some left over from the College of Eastern Utah Women’s Conference. A local grocer supplied refreshments and a local florist provided corsages and boutonnieres to participants.
The prom occurs each year during National and Global Youth Service Day, scheduled for the second week in April.
