Velda Sitterud Crumpley

    Velda Sitterud Crumpley passed away on April 17, 2018 at the Emery Care Center in Ferron, Utah. She was born July 25, 1935 to Jesse and Edna Stilson Sitterud in Orangeville, Utah.
    Velda was raised in Orangeville. If you were a friend of Velda you are still her friend. Everyone enjoyed her personality and humor. She raised her son by herself, working as the school secretary, working for a law firm, and a hostess at a hotel. She enjoyed golfing, snowskiing and hiking.
    Velda is survived by her brothers Neldon Sitterud, Mac (Mary) Sitterud, sisters Phyllis (Gerald) May, Sue (Edward) Johnson, Connie Jones and Colleen (Leon) DeFriez, and son Michael Ray Clegg. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers LaVar (Donna) Sitterud, Raymond (Murleen) Sitterud, Bessie (Shirl) McArthur, Selma (Bland) Tuttle, Ruth (Fred) Cox, Karen (Jerald) Barton, Sally (Kenneth) Ryan.

    Funeral services will be Friday, April 20, 2018 at Orangeville 1st Ward at 11:00 am with a viewing from 10:00 – 10:45 am. Interment will follow at the Orangeville Cemetery entrusted to Fausett Mortuary of Emery County. Family and friends may sign the guestbook and share memories of Velda at www.fausettmortuary.com.
