Emery finished in first place in both boys and girls divisions, followed by the Dinos.
The other two teams that competed were South Sevier and North Sanpete.
Carbon’s Megan Swasey won the girls 200-yard individual medley, edging out Kaelee Hooley. Swasey also won the girls 100-yard backstroke, defeating Emery’s Raquelle Simmons.
Senior Shannon Baker picked up a win in the Girls 50-yard freestyle for the Dinos.
Sophomore Kacee Barrett won the Girls 100-yard fly with a finals time of 1:16:19.
Emily Jesperson won the 500-yard freestyle while joining Baker, Barrett and Swasey on the Girls 400-yard freestyle relay team that took home first in that event.
On the boys’ side of the events senior Tyson Swasey won two events for the Dinos, the 100-yard freestyle and 100-yard breaststroke.
Senior Rylan Chamberlain also won the boys 100-yard backstroke event, defeating Emery’s Levi Olsen.
The swim team’s next competition will be Wednesday at the “Last Chance Meet” hosted by Uintah High School.
It will be the final meet before the Dinos host regionals on Jan. 25.
