Only about half of Utahns support a proposed $.10 a gallon gasoline tax hike, according to Utahpolicy.com.
According to polling conducted by Dan Jones & Associates finds, 50 percent of Utahns “strongly” or “somewhat” support increasing the state’s gas tax; 47 percent oppose the tax hike, which would fund education, and 3 percent don’t know. Because the poll’s margin of error is 3.4 percent, the ballot measure is almost a statistical tie.
