Lady Dinos ready for soccer season start

The Lady Dinos bounced back from a pre-season loss to Richfield with an easy 2-0 win over Gunnison last week.
Star playmaker Grace Broadbear did most of the damage, dribbling through the Lady Bulldogs at will.
Molly Banks put Carbon ahead with a powerful shot from the edge of the penalty area, which looped over the Gunnison keeper.
Grace Broadbear added a second on the stroke of half-time, dribbling into the penalty area, where her shot was blocked by the arm of a defender. She made no mistake from the penalty spot. The second half was much the same with Carbon camped out in Gunnison’s half, the Lady Bulldogs unable to create much in attack.
A combination of good goalkeeping and bad finishing saw the Dinos unable to increase their lead, the match ending 2-0.
The Lady Dinos kick off their regular season at Union today, followed by a home game versus Providence on the Thursday.
