Beatrice (Bea) Monroe Wiegand, passed away at home with her daughter by her side on 15 of August 2018 at 12:25am at the age of 83. Bea was born in Newburg, New York in 7 July 1935. She graduated from Middle Town High School in 1952 and went on to earn a Nursing degree from Middle Town State Hospital Nursing School in 1955. She worked at as a registered nurse till the age of 62. Her favorite place to work was the emergency room. She worked in Price, UT at the Castle View Hospital, where she loved and made many friends. She then moved to Saudi Arabia for ten years where she worked for King Fiasal’s Hospital where she worked till she was 62. Bea is survived by her loving her Sister Marian Gurnee of Denver Co. Sister Bobi Mitchel Florida and Brother P. Waynee Gurnee of Miami Florida daughters Susan Saunders of Lynchburg VA, Pamela Christensen of Logan UT. Laurie Cunningham (John Cunningham) Afton WY. Ernest R. Wiegand of Las Vegas NV, and Hugo R. Wiegand of Los Angeles, CA. She has 12 grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren, and five nieces and nephews.
Bea is proceeded in death by her, Father Clifford Waldron Gurnee, Mother Marjorie Viola Monroe Gurnee, Faye Gurnee, grandson Nathan Gurnee, and Husband Ernest R. Wiegand.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Nyman Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2018, at 11:00 AM in the Millville City Cemetery. A family viewing will be held prior to the service at Nyman Funeral Home located at 753 South 100 East in Logan, UT from 9:30-10:30 AM.
