Twila Nelson Martak

    PRICE- Twila won her battle against cancer on June 2, 2018 and gained her wings at the age of 46.
    She was born in Springfield, MO., on October 13, 1971 to Sharon Rae Vestal and Joe Harold Nelson.
    Twila married Pat Martak February 13, 1993 and they later divorced.
    Twila loved being a Reiki master and touched many lives across the country with her energy, work and positivity.  Some of her true passions were helping out at Second Chance Wildlife Rehabilitation especially with eagle releases and being a grandmother to the light of her life Harley Jaime Lynn.  While Twila was a blessing to many, she too was blessed by Connie, Debbie, and Tami when they provided Twila and her family with transportation to treatments.  But it was more than just a ride, it was treasured time with cherished friends.
    Twila survived by her one and only loving daughter, Katie Lynn Marquez, Price; one and only granddaughter, Harley Jaime Lynn Marquez, Price; uncle, Jaime Edward Hartzell, Price; father, Joe Harold Nelson, Pleasant Hope; sister, Julie Reynolds, High Landville, MO.; brother, Stephen (Tamara) Nelson, Fairgrove, MO., dear friend, Pat Martak, Heber; many cousins, aunts, uncles, friends;  niece and nephew she thought as her own, Nikkole Warman and Daniel Keltner, both of Price.
    Memorial service, Thursday, June 14, 2018, 11:00 a.m., The Studio (1340 East 800 North) in Price.  Family will receive friends Thursday morning at the Studio one hour prior to service.  Arrangements entrusted to Mitchell Funeral Home of Price where friends are always welcome daily and may share memories online at www.mitchellfuneralhome.net.
