Carbon County Commissioner Jake Mellor has been asked to serve as a moderator at this year’s Western Career Pathways Conference (WCPC) being held on May 30-June 1 in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Mellor serves as the Chair for the Department of Workforce Services Career Pathways Board and as a member of the Governor’s Office of Economic Development (GOED) Talent Ready Utah team.
Mellor will moderate a break out session titled “Advancing Economic Development in the Rural West: It Can Be Done!” This panel will feature business leaders who not only believe it is possible, but are making it happen.
