USU Dining Service

Certainly a step up from the college food in the past, the dining services at the Jennifer Leavitt Student Center has taken a new look at their cuisine menu in the form of a food court.

At the recent ribbon-cutting, the group was provided with a sampling of each of the food areas. Based on student and faculty feedback, the dining services wanted to provide options throughout the day to cater to the college lifestyle. For those on the run this includes to-go boxes.

So, for that “food court” experience you now have five different options. The first being the Market Deli where you can get fresh, made-to-order sandwiches on your choice of croissants, bagels, or wraps and a salad. For the Asian flair there is a Bento Bar where you have your choice of chicken, pork, beef, or shrimp on a bed of rice, an egg roll, and fortune cookie. The next is the Fresh Mex that serves up made to order tacos, burritos, quesadillas, nachos, chips and salsa. For those that like the more traditional meal, the Chef’s Corner offers a variety each day that includes a meat, starch, vegetable, salad, bread, and dessert. Last is the Aggie Grill, which provides hamburgers, wings, onion rings, smoothies and of course the famous Aggie ice cream.

For all you food court junkies this is open to the general public, Monday through Friday 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. and on weekends 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
