The Price Lions Club focused on diabetes awareness during the club’s November meeting. The guest speaker was JoAnn Stout, RN and Diabetes Specialist at Castleview Hospital. She outlined the services provided by her office for diabetics in Carbon and Emery counties.
Lions Clubs International has adopted diabetes as a long-term commitment. Lions work with local community partners and national diabetes associations to promote diabetes education and awareness throughout the year.
