The boys basketball program at Carbon got underway last week with the playing of the annual Blue and White basketball game.
As per tradition, the varsity team started the game. The white team had several players who scored. These included Ryan Gagon, Collin Lewis and Jon Zamantakis.
Scoring for the blue team were Jordan Vasquez, Kaleb Nelson, Braden Gagnon and Derrick Hillam. The final score after two quarters of play for the varsity was 20-29 for the blue team.
Scoring for the JV game was a little slower. For the white team those who scored were Devin Nielsen, Mike Banasky and Tyler Wright. For the blue team Nick Olson, Braden Gagon and Nick Olson. Final score for their two quarters of play was 13-16 for the blue team.
