Utah Foster Care

Utah Foster Care (UFC) is inviting families to learn more about adopting through foster care at events marking November as National Adoption Month. These events are for people who have questions about qualifications or the process.
Each year, more than 600 children are adopted from foster care in Utah, and most of them are adopted by their foster parents. Those foster parents include single parents and same-sex couples, as well as more traditional families.
“Adoption through foster care is one of the least expensive and powerful ways to grow your family,” says Mike Hamblin, UFC’s Director of Foster Family Recruitment. “You’re sharing your heart and home with a child who’s dealing with trauma and making a huge difference in their lives.”
At each event, attendees will be able to interact with families who’ve been through the experience of fostering to adopt. Attendees can learn more about training from Utah Foster Care representatives.
The Price event will be Tuesday, November 14 in the UFC offices at 475 Price River Drive, Suite 152 at 6:00 p.m.
