“I’m alive today because of this guy,” stated Sheriff Jeff Wood referring to Ronnie Bogdin, who was presented with a retirement plaque at the regular meeting of the Carbon County Commission Wednesday. The Sheriff explained, “I got stomped by a bull and had he not been there, the bull would still be stompin’, so he saved the day for me.”
Bogdin was recognized for 25 years of service. Sheriff Wood declared, “He has served his community and his county very proudly. He’s definitely made the Sheriff’s Office a better place to be.”
The Sheriff said Bogdin will continue to serve in a limited capacity, assisting in training programs in the future.
