Victor Evan Hansen

Victor Evan Hansen of Cedar Hills, Utah returned home to his Heavenly Father on Friday, September 1, 2017 following a courageous battle with cancer. Victor was born in Logan, Utah on June 16, 1964 to Evan and RaNae Hansen. He graduated from Carbon High School and attended the College of Eastern Utah. He served an LDS mission to the Dominican Republic. After his mission, he went on to receive his degree from Brigham Young University in Civil Engineering. He worked as Professional Civil Engineer and Land Surveyor for his entire career. He started his own engineering company; H&H Engineer and Surveying. He was a hard worker and respected by both those he worked for and with.
He married his best friend, the love of his life, Debra Allred in July of 1988 in the Manti Temple. Together they raised four children; Dalene, Megan, Dustin and Madison. Victor found the greatest joy in being a husband and father.
Victor had an amazing testimony of the gospel. He taught his family the importance of the gospel and especially the importance of prayer. He was a very smart and humble man and was always willing to help those around him. Victor was good at finding happiness in the little things, and could always offer a listening ear to those in need. He loved to hunt and fish and has passed that love on to his children. Victor had a strength and a calming presence wherever he went.
He is survived by his wife Debra; children: Dalene, Megan, Dustin and Madison; parents, Evan and RaNae; siblings: Tiffany (Todd Lauritsen), Tabrina (Brad) Kenison, Travis (Gina) Hansen, Taramie (Paul) Jackman. He was preceded in death by his brother Wade, his father-in-law Dale Allred.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at the Manila LDS Stake Center Chapel, 850 North 900 East, American Fork, Utah. Family and friends may call on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the church, and again on Wednesday morning at the church from 9:30 to 10:30 prior to services. Interment will be at the American Fork City Cemetery, 600 North Center Street, American Fork, Utah.
