James Locke, pastor of Ascension-St. Matthew’s Church in Price, hands a $100 check to Kobi Prettyman, Utah Foster Care Lead Consultant for Foster and Adoptive Parents, and Layne Miller, Chairman of the Quality Implementation Committee, a group advising the Utah Division of Child and Family Services Thursday. The check is one of many monthly donations the church makes to worthy local causes. It represents proceeds from various fund-raising events and contributions.
