Many members of the community met at Tony Basso GM on Monday morning to encounter a historical moment as the moon crossed in front of the sun approximately around 11:36 covering 87.3 percent of the sun.
Clark Planetarium donated 100 eclipse glasses to this event that Castle Country Radio put together. Over 250 people showed up at Tony Basso GM to gaze at the solar eclipse.
